I co-curated and spearheaded Liquid Becomings: a radical artistic experiment and exploration of Europe through its rivers—inviting reflection on belonging and the potential for collective futures. Four artistic crews sailed sustainable boats along the Vistula, Danube, Rhine, Tagus, tracing 1,394 km, and 11 countries. Liquid Becomings was chosen unanimously by an international jury of the European Cultural Foundation to be the European Pavilion 2024.

In 2026 I am taking first steps during an artistic residency at Nederlands Dans Theater to develop The Scores | Propositions for Being Together with Laura Kalauz. In 2025 I was Associate Curator Sea Roads, Saints + A Soft Land an exhibition of new work by painter Ian Sedge at White House Farm, Suffolk and until 2022 a member of Collectief Walden, a Dutch group of artists, makers, philosophers, and biologists focused on the urgency of the ecological crisis.

I’ve supported independent artists and collectives to scope long-term plans, nurture artistic ideas from the early stages and expand international opportunities and landing space for new work. I’ve produced work for traditional and alternative spaces, including in the land and on water.

I have advised on and recruited new Artistic Leadership positions for Longborough Festival Opera (Music Director 2026), Carlow Arts Festival (Artistic Director 2022). I’ve convened and facilitated projects with young people, stakeholder networks and leaders for the British Council, Fonds Podiumkunsten, Prince Claus Fund.

I’ve taught Cultural Management + Creative Economy Bachelors and Masters courses at Erasmus University, Rotterdam and was part of the founding team for New International Media + Innovation Masters at the Fine Art + Design Academy, ZUYD Hogeschool Maastricht between 2018-2022.
In 2026 I am dedicating time documenting and writing up the experiences of catalysing and testing Agora Now during its research and pioneer phase 2021-2025, collaborating with Agora colleagues as well as institutional and academic partners. I expect this knowledge to be ready for sharing more widely with artistic and other fields during the second half of the year.

Coaching + Reflection
I offer advice on an ad-hoc basis to independent artists working in and across performance genres to work through an early stage idea, put together a production plan for a new creation or prepare a funding bid or contract. This can be undertaken remotely or, if possible, in person.
My home in Suffolk, close to the sea and a train station, is available for short-term residency and reflection space for artists and creative leaders. I provide a warm welcome, critical friendship, share knowledge and networks on where artistic work and ideas can find a landing space. There’s a piano, a studio space in the garden, always excellent coffee, homemade sourdough and locally grown vegetables! Please contact me for more information.
